Hey guys! Okay, so I am here to start kind of a "new series" and I actually got this from glassslipperbeauty on youtube and she's calls her 'trends' or 'ootds' "The Style Files" and I thought that was just about the CUTEST name in the world! So that's what I'm calling it and this new series is called 2012 spring fashion trends! So a few of these come from beauty gurus and just TONS of stuff I've seen around and I'm NOT trying to copy and beauty guru's, it's just the points they made was REALLY amazing! So here we go:
1. Colorblocking.
-Colorblocking is a HUGE trend this season! I can't even look at a page while I'm online shopping and NOT spot colorblocking! Or even when I'm in stores. Colorblocking is when you basically take two big blocks of color and put them together. But they need to be solid. That's what colorblocking is and I'm not sure why THAT is such a big trend but it is and I think it might be here to stay! Maybe not as long as facebook or computers or anything like that, but here to stay for the most part:
2. Crochet.
-Crochet is another that might be here to stay. I don't see many people in my town wearing it but I have seen stars and youtube beauty guru's wearing it! So I think crochet is SO gorgeous and it looks handmade and it just looks so glamorous and like your actually trying hard but not actually trying it. It does look a lot like lace but it takes more effort and it's way more casual but elegant (if that makes sense!): 
3. Orange/Coral Nail Polish:
-I think we are ALL aware of the coral trend as it has been seen in MANY places in the past few years! But every company has been REALLY stepping up there trends lately which I think is SO high-fashion and amazing because coral is one of the PRETTIEST colors on the block! And it is a MUST in any of the collections you may own:
4. Lace Shorts.
-Lately a lot of people have been on lace shorts. Black and white are the only color lace trends out right now and fashion companies are beginning to take notice. Remember that they don't cover EVERYTHING so you probably have to wear spandex:
5. Velvet.
I'm not sure why but I always thought that velvet was kind of grandma-ish and nobody would EVER try to bring it back but I am SADLY mistaken! People who go thrift store shopping and SOMETIMES even regular shopping have been REALLY scoring lately and basically red velvet is probably the best color because when you wear black velvet, you sweat and look like a big black button:
6. Combat boots!
This is DEFINITELY one of my FAVORITE 2012 Spring Fashion trends because there femine while still having a bit of an edge and there SUPER comfortable and when I wear them I feel kind of "prettylittleliar" -esque / kim kardashian-esque. These are probably the most popular trend out there right now so #GGYS go get you some! These are the ones I own and they are from wet seal. THE EXACT SAME PAIR. 10 dollars at wet seal (: AMAZING PRICE!
7. Big Tote Purses/Hobo Purses.
-Lately a lot more people have been heavy packing and we can't carry all of that wonderful junk/clutter is a small clutch and a lot of people have turned to big tote purses whether it's coral, black, cobalt blue, orange, any color, they get around! (: Fashionable, Feminine, Fun!
8. Infinite Scarfs!
-I absolutely LOVE infinite scarfs because you can make them any length you want and there not all annoying with the whole "dangly dangly" bit and that's why I love them and most of the infinite scarfs you will see this spring are WAY MORE fashionable than any regular scarf because companies are starting to realize that a lot more people are taking an interest in infinite scarfs so they are hiking up the designs and quality. But that's not the only thing there hiking up! You better get these before they hike up the prices!
9. Big Earrings!
-So this is one of my favorite trends because I have ALWAYS worn big earrings but I felt like a loner kind of because I was the only one wearing these but hoop earrings and just plain old big earrings are finally starting to make there comeback!
10. Vintage Heels/Oxfords!
-Recently I have noticed that a lot of stars AND regular people have been wearing oxfords or vintage heels and I really need to get me some because they are SUPER fashionable and look SUPER comfortable!
