Fright Night Friday: The Hunger Games! (Movie Review)

(Alright guys, today is March 27, 2012 so it is no longer the day the hunger games came out, I now have mixed feelings and disappointment with this movie but I thought I would just publish this post anyway, Here you go) -  
Hey guys!!!!!!!! So as you can see I am 100% PUMPED!!!!! I just saw the hunger games with my best friend Hope we saw the afternoon showing today at my local movie theater at 1:00 p.m. because we had a half day at school and it was soooo much fun! I have to admit I am jealous of the whole Peeta/Katniss relationship because I am sooooo in love with Josh Hutchinson. I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous and that's why I stopped reading the first book!!!!! But here is my review:

The Hunger Games has been one of the most anticipated movie's of the year and I was hoping it would be as great as the hype it had been given!!! IT WAS! OMGHHKP (as Blair Fowler would say). The plot was brilliant and although they left out a lot of crap from the book...it still BLEW MY MIND and above! I absolutely love it and I can't wait to start counting down till' Catching Fire and Mockingjay!

Kendall Jenner vs. Kim Kardashian - Who IS The Fashion Freeloader?

                                 Kendall won. No offense, but Kim doesn't have the body formation to pull off midi (mid-length) dresses and she was TOTALLY wrong to add the belt and tights with a busy pattern. Kendall kept it simple with her outfit, long, slender legs, high-enough heels and neutral makeup. Kim "tried" to outdo herself thinking more is good, while in reality, Kendall was on the dot with more is less!

Look For Less: Cute, Comfortable, Chic Ashley Tisdale!

                Hey guys! So today I am doing another one of those "look for less"'s because I find that they are SUPER helpful and SUPER fun to look at + if I ever go through my blog (which I did five minutes ago) looking for any fashion inspirations that I might have ever posted on here than I can find the cutest clothes at the cheapest prices! As I can do when people do these on youtube videos and when other people blog post on them! 
                So today's look for less is on Ashley Tisdale and recently I've been seeing a lot of her so it might be possible that the former "high school musical" and "hellcats" star is making a comeback! The Style Files: 2012 Spring Fashion Trends!

              Hey guys! Okay, so I am here to start kind of a "new series" and I actually got this from glassslipperbeauty on youtube and she's calls her 'trends' or 'ootds' "The Style Files" and I thought that was just about the CUTEST name in the world! So that's what I'm calling it and this new series is called 2012 spring fashion trends! So a few of these come from beauty gurus and just TONS of stuff I've seen around and I'm NOT trying to copy and beauty guru's, it's just the points they made was REALLY amazing! So here we go:

1. Colorblocking.

                -Colorblocking is a HUGE trend this season! I can't even look at a page while I'm online shopping and NOT spot colorblocking! Or even when I'm in stores. Colorblocking is when you basically take two big blocks of color and put them together. But they need to be solid. That's what colorblocking is and I'm not sure why THAT is such a big trend but it is and I think it might be here to stay! Maybe not as long as facebook or computers or anything like that, but here to stay for the most part:

2. Crochet.

                -Crochet is another that might be here to stay. I don't see many people in my town wearing it but I have seen stars and youtube beauty guru's wearing it! So I think crochet is SO gorgeous and it looks handmade and it just looks so glamorous and like your actually trying hard but not actually trying it. It does look a lot like lace but it takes more effort and it's way more casual but elegant (if that makes sense!): 

3. Orange/Coral Nail Polish: 

                 -I think we are ALL aware of the coral trend as it has been seen in MANY places in the past few years! But every company has been REALLY stepping up there trends lately which I think is SO high-fashion and amazing because coral is one of the PRETTIEST colors on the block! And it is a MUST in any of the collections you may own:

4. Lace Shorts.

             -Lately a lot of people have been on lace shorts. Black and white are the only color lace trends out right now and fashion companies are beginning to take notice. Remember that they don't cover EVERYTHING so you probably have to wear spandex:

5. Velvet.

       I'm not sure why but I always thought that velvet was kind of grandma-ish and nobody would EVER try to bring it back but I am SADLY mistaken! People who go thrift store shopping and SOMETIMES even regular shopping have been REALLY scoring lately and basically red velvet is probably the best color because when you wear black velvet, you sweat and look like a big black button: 

6. Combat boots!

             This is DEFINITELY one of my FAVORITE 2012 Spring Fashion trends because there femine while still having a bit of an edge and there SUPER comfortable and when I wear them I feel kind of "prettylittleliar" -esque / kim kardashian-esque. These are  probably the most popular trend out there right now so #GGYS go get you some! These are the ones I own and they are from wet seal. 7. Big Tote Purses/Hobo Purses.
           -Lately a lot more people have been heavy packing and we can't carry all of that wonderful junk/clutter is a small clutch and a lot of people have turned to big tote purses whether it's coral, black, cobalt blue, orange, any color, they get around! (: Fashionable, Feminine, Fun!


8. Infinite Scarfs!
              -I absolutely LOVE infinite scarfs because you can make them any length you want and there not all annoying with the whole "dangly dangly" bit and that's why I love them and most of the infinite scarfs you will see this spring are WAY MORE fashionable than any regular scarf because companies are starting to realize that a lot more people are taking an interest in infinite scarfs so they are hiking up the designs and quality. But that's not the only thing there hiking up! You better get these before they hike up the prices!


9. Big Earrings!
          -So this is one of my favorite trends because I have ALWAYS worn big earrings but I felt like a loner kind of because I was the only one wearing these but hoop earrings and just plain old big earrings are finally starting to make there comeback!


10. Vintage Heels/Oxfords!
               -Recently I have noticed that a lot of stars AND regular people have been wearing oxfords or vintage heels and I really need to get me some because they are SUPER fashionable and look SUPER comfortable!

R.I.P. Hana Hwang

                Hey guys! So today is something a little different from makeup and fashion. I'm not exactly sure what day. But Hana Hwang, a precious little 13-year-old, died from Progeria. This is Hana Hwang:

But this cutie had one hero: Selena Gomez. And what did Ms. Gomez do? She visited Hana in the hospital (I think Feb. 4th 2012 or Feb. 5 2012) and Hana made her a very high-fashion bracelet (she's very creative). Selena has been seen with Hana. And wearing the bracelet on stage and on the red carpet:

I get tears in my eyes when I talk about Hana and she died. A little sweetheart that was taken from the world to soon. R.I.P. Hana Hwang!
